Job summary

Child Builders ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to provide home-based ABA services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work one-on-one with clients, collect data, and help implement behavior plans designed by the BCBA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• RBT training completed or in progress.
• BACB RBT certification current or in process.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in home, school, or community settings using behavior plans.
• Collect accurate data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to ensure consistent treatment.
• Assist clients in communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.
• Provide feedback to the BCBA on client progress and changes in behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings (home, school, community) using the behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.
• Collect accurate data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.
• Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.
• Provide feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress and any observed changes in behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards of behavior analysis.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay range: $20 - $25 /hour
• Full-time, part-time shifts available

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program preferred, but we will offer the course for any new staff
• Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement ABA techniques effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations as needed.
