Advanceable ABA VA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home, 1:1 ABA therapy in Colonial Beach and surrounding areas. This part-time role offers flexible afternoon and after-school sessions, with 15–25+ hours per week depending on client needs.

You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans, track progress, and communicate with families. Training and growth opportunities are provided, including certification support and PTO.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification; we’ll support your path to certification if needed.
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.

What You’ll Do:

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans

• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills

• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques

• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes

• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team

• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training

• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification

• Passion for working with children and helping others grow

• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)

• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism

• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Colonial Beach, VA area

• Part-time RBT positions available

• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed)

• 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
