Job summary

Advanceable ABA VA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver in-home ABA therapy in the child’s natural environment in Virginia. You will work under BCBA supervision to implement treatment plans and support skill development.

The role offers flexible afternoon/evening shifts, a competitive hourly rate, paid training, PTO, and opportunities for ongoing clinical growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or path supported.
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Pounding Mills, VA area.
• Part-time RBT positions available.
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Mon–Fri; weekends as needed).
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

What You’ll Do

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans

• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills

• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques

• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes

• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team

• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training

• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification
