Job summary

Kinfolk ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in North Carolina. You will provide in-home, one-to-one ABA therapy and implement treatment plans created by a BCBA, while collecting progress data and collaborating with families for client success.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for RBT certification and some college. Ability to pass a background check and reliable transportation are required; travel locally may

• 40-hour ABA training completed or in progress.
• RBT certification preferred; willingness to obtain encouraged.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy is a plus but not required.
• Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members for client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
• Help develop individualized treatment goals based on assessments.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home

• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collect and document data on client progress.

• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.

• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range:$25 - $27/hour

• Full-Time:25-35 hours/week

• Shifts:Morning

• Location:Elizabethtown, NC

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have completed the 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA)

• Best to have, or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
