Job summary

Kinfolk ABA in Cary, NC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our family-focused team. This role provides 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home and supports treatment plans designed by a BCBA.

The position offers weekly pay, flexible afternoon shifts, and part-time hours (12–14 per week). Successful candidates will have the 40‑hour ABA training and may pursue RBT certification, with travel to local clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 40-hour ABA training.
• RBT certification preferred; obtainable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Background check required; reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members for client success.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment during sessions.
• Contribute to development of individualized goals based on assessments.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home

• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collect and document data on client progress.

• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.

• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range:$25-$27 per hour

• Part-Time:12-14 hours/week

• Shifts:Afternoon

• Location:Cary, NC

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have completed 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA)

• Best to have, or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
