Job summary

Kinfolk ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Salisbury, NC team. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement treatment plans and collect progress data.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, maintaining a safe environment, and contributing to individualized goals based on assessments. A 40-hour ABA training and RBT certification are preferred; a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 40-hour ABA training course.
• RBT certification is preferred or obtainable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy is a plus but not required.
• Able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $25 - $27/hour
• Full-Time: 15-16 hours/week
• Shifts: Part time
• Location: Salisbury, NC

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have completed the 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Best to have, or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
