Join us to apply for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) role at Sunrise ABA.

All are welcome to apply! Behavior Technicians at Sunrise ABA are responsible for implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. The role involves working one-on-one with clients, delivering therapy sessions, collecting data, and supporting skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and adaptive behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement ABA treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  2. Conduct therapy sessions in various settings.
  3. Use positive reinforcement and ABA techniques to promote skills and reduce problematic behaviors.
  4. Accurately record client progress data.
  5. Report behavioral changes to the BCBA.
  6. Assist in preparing progress reports and participate in team meetings.
  7. Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  8. Maintain current knowledge of ABA principles.
  9. Collaborate with families and team members to ensure consistency.
  10. Support and train family members and caregivers.
  11. Communicate professionally with clients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with ABA programs or children with special needs is a plus.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
  • Reliable transportation and commitment to daily attendance.
  • RBT certification is a plus.
  • Skills include excellent communication, ability to work independently and in a team, organizational skills, patience, and compassion.
Work Environment:
  • Settings include homes, schools, clinics, and community locations.
  • May involve physical activities and flexible hours to meet client needs.
