All are welcome to apply! Behavior Technicians at Sunrise ABA are responsible for implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA. The role involves working one-on-one with clients, delivering therapy sessions, collecting data, and supporting skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and adaptive behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Conduct therapy sessions in various settings.
- Use positive reinforcement and ABA techniques to promote skills and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Accurately record client progress data.
- Report behavioral changes to the BCBA.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and participate in team meetings.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain current knowledge of ABA principles.
- Collaborate with families and team members to ensure consistency.
- Support and train family members and caregivers.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience with ABA programs or children with special needs is a plus.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
- Reliable transportation and commitment to daily attendance.
- RBT certification is a plus.
- Skills include excellent communication, ability to work independently and in a team, organizational skills, patience, and compassion.
