Overview

Are you passionate about improving the lives of children with autism in your community? Are you a dedicated individual looking for a meaningful and long-term career?

We offer a two-week PAID training program to become a Behavior Technician where you will learn how to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones through teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

Part Time After School

ABA Therapy is a growing field and provides a chance to work one on one with children of all ages and across the Autism spectrum. Take your joy of working with children to the next level and be a part of something that will have a lifelong impact on these children!

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Work 1-1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensure all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Update working availability in the EMR platform.
• Document services performed in an accurate and complete fashion.
• Complete all assigned company training and submit proof and/or documentation as needed to maintain credentialing with payers.
• Communicate regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor regarding assigned client(s).
• Ensure communication is conducted in a manner aligned with HIPAA standards.
• Arrive on-time to scheduled services and notify supervisors of any client changes.
• Notify leadership of any compliance issues.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If not completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Posted Salary Range

USD $17.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
