Job summary

Advanceable ABA NC is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home ABA therapy in the Wilmington and Hampstead, NC area. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a competitive hourly wage of $21–$25, and opportunities for professional growth.

You will work 1:1 with children in their homes, under BCBA supervision, delivering evidence-based ABA programs and tracking progress. Training and support are provided as you advance toward certification.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required or we will support your path to certification.
• 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans with each child.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills.
• Track progress with session data and clinical notes; communicate with families and clinical team.

What You'll Do

As an RBT, you'll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We're Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we'll support your path to certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Wilmington & Hampstead, NC area
• Part-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday-Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15-25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
