Job summary

Advanceable ABA in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home, part-time ABA therapy with flexible schedules. You'll work under a BCBA, providing individualized 1:1 services in the child's natural environment.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, developing communication and daily living skills, tracking progress, and communicating with families. We offer paid training, PTO, certification support, and ongoing clinical mentorship to help you

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• HighSchool diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience or interest in working with children with special needs.

What You’ll Do

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans

• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills

• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques

• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes

• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team

• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training

• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification

• Passion for working with children and helping others grow

• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)

• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism

• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Wilmington & Hampstead, NC area

• Part-time RBT positions available

• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed)

• 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
