Advanceable ABA is seeking an RBT to provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy in the child’s natural environment. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, helping children build essential communication, social, and daily-living skills.

The role offers part-time and full-time options with afternoon and after-school hours, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth within ABA.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification; we'll support your path to certification.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Ability to work in clients' homes throughout the Waverly, VA area.
• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available.
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed).
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques.
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes.

What You’ll Do:

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
