A child and family-centered community practice is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician in New York. Responsibilities

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will:

• Interact with children and perform applied behavior analysis (center-based and community).
• Perform daily living needs of children, including changing diapers, clothing, washing hands, and assistance in toilet training.
• Interact with families daily.
• Follow mandating reporting guidelines as established by the state.
• Assist with cleaning and COVID day‑to‑day procedures.
• Assist children in the bathroom.
• Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.

Requirements

• High school degree or higher.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older, flexible and creative, and able to work well with both children and adults.
• Experience with children or adults with developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Can push/pull 75 pounds (e.g., move school tables/training materials) and lift/support 25 pounds of weight. Physical ability to run, jump, get on/off the floor, bend, and help carry students.
