Job summary

My Team ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians to deliver high-quality ABA therapy to children in home and community settings. We provide full training for newcomers and ongoing support, with opportunities to pursue RBT certification and BCBA pathways.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree required.
• RBT 40-hour training required prior to working with a client.
• Minimum one year experience as an ABA therapist or one year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.

• Exemplary written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in home or community settings.
• Implement behavior intervention plans for children aged 2–21.
• Conduct trials and natural environment teaching per treatment plan.
• Collect data and enter into EMR daily.
• Collaborate with BCBA and clinical team; participate in meetings and trainings.
• Maintain open communication with families and supervisors.
• Receive supervision from BCBA at a minimum of 5% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ethics.

We provide full training for those who are new to the field, as well as room for growth for more experienced candidates.

Here’s what we need from you:

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sit on floor level or in a chair, or stand for periods of time while working with clients.
• Able to respond quickly over short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of clients.
• Able and willing to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Registered Behavior Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities in the home or community setting.
• Implement behavior intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21
• Conduct discrete trials, natural environment teaching, and utilize a variety of skill building and reinforcement methods in line with the treatment plan during sessions.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions for all programs targeted and enter into EMR daily.
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA, other RBT team members, clinical directors, and families to support the clients’ needs
• Receive Supervision from a BCBA at a minimum of 5% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around all clients and families.
• Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs
• Able to effectively resolve conflicts and challenging situations smoothly.
• Maintain proactive communication with supervisor for feedback and guidance.
