Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Sandy, UT is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental challenges. Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $27 per hour.

Responsibilities include helping clients develop social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing behavior plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or 1 year experience with children in roles like Child Development/Paraprofessional/ABA Therapist required.

• Help children develop social and communication skills and address behaviors.
• Document progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

• Strong communication skills

• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
