Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental or behavioral health challenges. The role offers hourly pay and flexible hours to match client needs.

The position requires completion of ABA training, CPR/First Aid, and a high school diploma, with the reward of making meaningful progress in clients’ lives and the potential for growth within Maxim’s programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of 40-hour ABA training. Training provided, must be completed prior to providing service.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children with special needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and adults with special needs
• Excellent communication skills
• Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of 40-hour and ABA Training. Training provided, must be completed prior to providing service.
• Successful completion of the Registered Behavior Technician Exam following the 40 hour training.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Current PPD or Chest X Ray
• Ability to effectively elicit/ provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients)
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required.
