Job summary

Kinfolk ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Virginia. This part-time role offers evenings, 20–22 hours per week, with shifts in McLean/Manassas VA.

We provide weekly pay, competitive rates, 401K plans, and training support to grow your career in ABA therapy. Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 ABA therapy, following BCBA-designed plans, tracking client progress, and collaborating with families to ensure client success.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 40-hour ABA training course.
• RBT certification (preferred or willing to obtain).
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy with children is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team for client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during sessions.
• Travel locally as needed.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $25 - $27 per hour
• Part-Time: 20-22 hours/week
• Shifts: Evening
• Location: McLean / Manassas VA
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
• Must have completed the 40-hour training course in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Best to have, or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
