Job summary

Achieving True Self is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (RBT) to support children with autism. Paid training is provided, with onboarding and ongoing support to help you grow within the role.

You will work one-on-one, implement plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to deliver care in home, school, or community settings. A driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18+ years old.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in various settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Hourly Pay: $19-26/hr for direct billable hours (based on experience)
• Training, onboarding, and drive time: Paid at $15.00/hr
• Paid RBT certification training provided within your first month of employment
  

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related developmental needs using evidence-based strategies
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful, life-changing progress

What We’re Looking For?

• High school diploma, or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle is required.This is not a position where rideshare or public transportation can be used.
• Candidates with evening/after-school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Monday–Friday).
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.
