Job summary

Achieving True Self is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Maryland. Earn $19-26 per hour for direct billable hours, with paid training at $15.00/hour.

Paid RBT certification training is provided within your first month of employment. You will provide one-on-one support to children with autism, implement treatment plans, teach communication and daily living skills in home, school, or community settings, and collect data to adjust strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities or related coursework.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Evening/after-school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Mon–Fri)
• General knowledge of Windows and Google products.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related developmental needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

• Training, onboarding, and drive time: Paid at $15.00/hr
• Paid RBT certification training provided within your first month of employment

• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle; rideshare or public transport not allowed
• Evening/after‑school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Monday–Friday)
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products
