Job summary

Achieving True Self is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism using evidence-based strategies. Training is paid and RBT certification is provided within the first month.

You’ll work with a supervising clinician to implement plans and collect progress data, in home, school, or community settings. Bi-weekly pay, potential benefits, and a supportive, mission-driven culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle is required.
• Evening/after-school availability preferred ( sessions typically 2–6 hours, Mon–Fri).
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful progress.

Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Hourly Pay: $18-24/hr for direct billable hours (based on experience)
• Training, onboarding, and drive time: Paid at $12.50/hr
• Paid RBT certification training provided within your first month of employment
