Job summary

Lumino ABA in DeLand is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism in school and home settings. We provide mentorship, flexible schedules, and top-tier hourly pay up to $27/hour based on experience and performance.

Work involves 1:1 support, implementing behavior plans, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA. It also includes family coaching and maintaining thorough documentation in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow BCBA-designed protocols.
• Accurately collect data on client progress and behaviors during sessions.
• Provide direct support and care to clients, focusing on improving behavioral skills.
• Educate and support families on behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with BCBA and stakeholders to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, BCBA, and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Duties

• Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders
• Implement behavior intervention plans, and follow specific protocol designed by the BCBA
• Accurately collect data on client progress and behaviors during sessions
• Provide direct support and care to clients, focusing on improving their behavioral skills and overall quality of life.
• Educate and support families on behavior management techniques to promote positive outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders and BCBA to adjust treatment plans as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, BCBA and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and records
• Adhere to Lumino ABA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and Level II fingerprinting
• High School Diploma
• Active RBT certification from the BACB (or ready to enroll with our help)
• Reliable transportation
• Experience working with children
• High degree of professionalism and commitment to punctuality
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all interactions

Nice-to-Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, etc.)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Availability for full-time (25–35+ hours/week)
