Job summary

Lumino ABA in Cocoa, FL is seeking reliable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism in school and home settings. The role offers mentorship, flexible schedules, and competitive hourly pay based on experience up to $26/hour.

You will work 1:1 with clients, collect data, implement behavior plans, educate families, and collaborate with BCBA staff to adjust treatments. This entry-level to mid-role provides growth toward BCBA and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and Level II fingerprinting.
• Active Medicaid Provider ID.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow BCBA protocols.

Duties

• Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders
• Implement behavior intervention plans, and follow specific protocol designed by the BCBA
• Accurately collect data on client progress and behaviors during sessions
• Provide direct support and care to clients, focusing on improving their behavioral skills and overall quality of life.
• Educate and support families on behavior management techniques to promote positive outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders and BCBA to adjust treatment plans as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, BCBA and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and records
• Adhere to Lumino ABA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Active RBT certification from the BACB
• Active Medicaid Provider ID
• Reliable transportation
• Experience working with children
• High degree of professionalism and commitment to punctuality
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all interactions

Nice-to-Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Availability for full-time (25–35+ hours/week)
