Job summary

Move Up ABA in Maryland seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children in home, community, or school settings. Under BCBA supervision, you’ll implement behavior plans, collect data, and help clients develop new skills through engaging sessions.

This role runs Monday–Friday, 4pm–8pm, with pay ranging from $24.00 to $34.00 per hour depending on experience. Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver’s license with insurance, and completion (or imminent

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Patient, compassionate, and driven to help autistic children achieve individualized goals.
• Completion of the 40-Hour RBT course (or ability to complete within 60 days of hire).
• Experience flexing your approach with children through connection and engagement.
• Ability to stand, sit, run, lift up to 30 lbs and perform CPR if necessary.
• Able to commit to scheduled sessions and locations consistently for at least six months post-placement.

Responsibilities

Day in the life as an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®):

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®), you’ll engage in

rewarding healthcare work, implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and supporting clients' skill development.

You’ll collaborate with caregivers as a team to address clients' needs and maintain accurate documentation, all while demonstrating empathy and patience.

This role involves supporting clients through various activities, including potty training and managing mild to moderate behaviors.
