Job summary

Advanceable ABA in Front Royal, VA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help children with autism reach important goals in their natural environment.

The role offers both part-time and full-time options with afternoon and after-school sessions, flexible hours, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification; support path to certification if not yet certified.
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Track progress through accurate session data and notes; communicate with families and your clinical team.
• Stay physically active during sessions - sitting, squatting, playing, running, etc.

Work Setting

What You’ll Do as a Behavior Technician (RBT)

As a Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll help children with autism reach important goals - while staying engaged, playful, and active.

What We’re Looking For

• Active RBT certification - already certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)? Great! Not yet? We’ll support your path to certification

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)

Schedule & Hours

• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday-Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15-25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
