Job summary

Budding Stars ABA in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children with autism. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings and implement plans created by the supervising BCBA to foster essential communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will collect session data, maintain accurate notes in the ABA software, and collaborate with the BCBA and team to support client progress while building strong relationships with families and

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy services to clients in home settings
• Implement plans developed by the supervising BCBA accurately and consistently

• Maintain professional, compassionate, and respectful relationships with clients, their families, and caregivers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the BACB
• Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities strongly preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong observational, data collection, and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, compassion, accountability, and initiative in all aspects of job performance

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs. and engage in active play
• Must maintain attention, alertness, and energy throughout sessions
• Adequate hearing and vision required for safety and observational tasks

Other

• Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Completion of required onboarding, ongoing trainings, and timely certification renewals
• Must own or have access to a personal device (phone, tablet, or laptop) compatible with required software
