Capitol Academy & Capitol Elementary in Sacramento, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our student-centered team. You will collaborate with BCBA s, teachers, speech-language pathologists, and administrators to support students with autism and other learning and behavioral needs through individualized behavior plans.

This part-time role (8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) under BCBA supervision focuses on building communication, independence, and social-emotional skills,

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Experience working with students with autism or special needs preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.
• Background check and TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Support students in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Collect accurate behavior and skill acquisition data.
• Assist teachers and clinical staff in maintaining a structured, supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with school teams to promote student success.
• Maintain required documentation and compliance records.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our student centered team. As part of our Non Public School (NPS) and Non Public Agency (NPA), you'll work closely with BCBAs, teachers, speech language pathologists, and administrators to support students with unique learning and behavioral needs.

RBTs play a key role in helping students build communication, independence, and social emotional skills through individualized behavior support plans and structured interventions.
