Job summary

Capitol Academy & Capitol Elementary is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our student-centered team in Sacramento, CA. You will work closely with BCBA supervisors, teachers, speech language pathologists, and administrators to support students with autism and other needs.

RBTs implement individualized behavior plans, help students build communication and social-emotional skills, and collect data under BCBA supervision in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

  • Current RBT certification is required.
  • Experience with autism or special needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
  • Ability to collaborate in a school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Support students in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills.
  • Collect accurate behavior and skill acquisition data.
  • Assist teachers and clinical staff in maintaining a structured, supportive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with school teams to promote student success.
  • Maintain required documentation and compliance records.

Pay range$24.50 - $28.00 based on experience and certification

Part Time 8:00a.m. - 2:30 pm

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our student centered team. As part of our Non Public School (NPS) and Non Public Agency (NPA), you'll work closely with BCBAs, teachers, speech language pathologists, and administrators to support students with unique learning and behavioral needs.

RBTs play a key role in helping students build communication, independence, and social emotional skills through individualized behavior support plans and structured interventions.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working with students with autism or special needs preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Background check and TB clearance required
