New Patterns ABA VA is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work under a BCBA to implement individualized ABA treatment plans for clients in-home and community settings.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and eager to positively impact individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will collect data, collaborate with families, and follow BACB guidelines to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification through the BACB is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to client sites.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings.
• Implement ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
• Assist in developing behavior intervention strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Maintain a positive, supportive relationship with clients and families.
• Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines and standards.

Job Summary

New Patterns ABA VA is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians to join our team. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA

• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors

• Assist in the development of behavior intervention strategies

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

• Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Current RBT certification through the BACB (preferred)

• Reliable transportation

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)

• Flexibility, empathy, patience, and a solution-oriented, client-centered approach

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, timeliness, and effective time management skills
