Job summary

New Patterns ABA VA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy in clients' homes. You will work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized treatment plans developed and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

As a Behavior Technician at New Patterns ABA VA, you will help clients build communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills that transform their lives, under BCBA

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (BACB) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA programs in clients' homes under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during each session.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to teach functional skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Maintain professional, compassionate relationships with clients and their families.
