Job summary

New Patterns ABA VA seeks dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work under BCBA supervision, delivering 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and in community settings to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

A compassionate, patient and reliable helper with good communication skills and a teamwork mindset will thrive here; BACB RBT certification is preferred and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current RBT certification through the BACB preferred.
• Reliable transportation to in-home/community sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community settings.

Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary

New Patterns ABA VA is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians to join our team. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA

• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors

• Assist in the development of behavior intervention strategies

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

• Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Current RBT certification through the BACB (preferred)

• Reliable transportation

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)

• Flexibility, empathy, patience, and a solution-oriented, client-centered approach

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, timeliness, and effective time management skills
