Waco ISD is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician in Ojai, California. This role involves providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols to children with autism and other developmental disabilities, under the direction of a BCBA. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma, RBT certification, and relevant experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Responsible for providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism, serious emotional disabilities, and other developmental disabilities in the school setting, under the direction of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will collect data on programs, assist with staff trainings, and assist with assessments as needed.

Patient lift, ramp copier, computer, audiovisual equipment, and specialized equipment or materials necessary to support student IEP’s and BIP’s.
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and pushing, and pulling; regular heavy lifting of students. Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases.
