The Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Waco ISD in Waco, Texas, reports to the Director of Special Education. The role is exempt/at-will, with responsibilities across assessment, program development, and staff training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
The BCBA will conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, support districts staff, and collaborate with ARD committees to tailor behavior plans for students under IDEA and Texas regulations. Travel between campuses is expected.

To provide behavior analysis services and behavior management plans for special education students enrolled in educational programs; provide support and professional learning to school site staff, para-educators, and parents/guardians in appropriate behavior intervention techniques; conducts assessments and develops plans that conform to IDEA, Texas law and regulations and other applicable statutes and regulations.
