Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Level III NICU duties in Rogers, AR. The role focuses on neonatal patient-centered care, using the nursing process to ensure safety and outcomes.

The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy standards. Certification in NRP and STABLE is required, with national specialty certification (RNC-NIC) strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in the United States.
• Experience in neonatal care is preferred or required.
• Strong patient advocacy and confidentiality adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of direct care givers and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy standards.
• Float within Women’s and Children’s units as needed.

Position Details:

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. The RN evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Position Details:

The Level III NICU is a 24/7, multidisciplinary unit located adjacent to the Mother/Baby Unit, featuring private suites that support family-centered care. The team provides advanced neonatal care for infants as early as 26 weeks gestation, including therapies such as therapeutic hypothermia, high-frequency ventilation, and iNO. NRP and STABLE certification is required and can be completed once hired, and national specialty certification (RNC-NIC) is strongly encouraged.
