Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with regional operations, execute WHS policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across the region for Amazon Associates.

You will build and mentor a team of WHS professionals, lead continuous improvement initiatives with kaizens, deliver risk assessments, and train leaders on safe work practices while driving global best practices into local standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in safety/environmental programs in manufacturing/production/service operations.
• 7+ years of people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles in an operational environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Willingness to relocate within the region and work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Measure regional performance and fix identified deficiencies.
• Ensure WHS recordkeeping and accurate reporting/metrics.
• Lead on-time, quality safety projects for Operations.
• Analyze WHS metrics and incident trends to allocate resources.
