Job summary

Workforce Intelligence Lab (WIL) seeks a Regional Workforce Development Consultant to lead a regional study translating labor‑market evidence into actionable priorities and implementation recommendations. You will engage employers, educators, and public agencies to shape a practical strategy and roadmap for decision‑makers.

Responsibilities include interviews, data analysis across labor markets, and developing materials to support grant and sponsored‑research proposals.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading workforce development strategies, regional talent initiatives, or labor‑market studies.
Strong research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and report writing.
Experience working with workforce boards, economic‑development organizations, education systems, employers, or public agencies.

Responsibilities

Lead a regional workforce strategy study from research design through findings and implementation recommendations.
Analyze labor‑market, industry, demographic, education, and workforce‑program data to identify needs and opportunity areas.
Facilitate interviews, focus groups, workshops, and stakeholder engagement with employers, educators, workforce partners, and public agencies.
Assess current workforce programs, delivery capacity, partnerships, and performance measures.
Develop a practical strategy, roadmap, and presentation materials for public‑sector decision‑makers.
Contribute specialist qualifications and past‑performance narrative to WIL grant and sponsored‑research packages when permissioned.
