Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Regional Workforce Development Consultant to lead a regional workforce strategy study for a major regional workforce board, translating labor-market evidence and stakeholder input into actionable priorities, partnerships, and implementation recommendations.

You’ll design research, analyze labor-market data, facilitate stakeholder engagements, assess current programs and partnerships, and develop a practical strategy and roadmap with materials for policymakers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workforce development strategies or regional labor-market studies.
• Strong research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and report-writing skills.
• Experience working with workforce boards, economic-development organizations, education systems, employers, or public agencies.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator; remote-first with travel as client work requires

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans workforce and economic development, emergency management and continuity planning, housing and community development, grant administration technical assistance, research and program evaluation, and applied field operations support.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with travel as required for client and field sites. We build teams for current live pursuits.

• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator; remote-first with travel as client work requires

Nice to have:

• Experience with WIOA planning, workforce innovation, sector strategies, or regional labor-market information systems
• Experience translating research into implementation roadmaps, performance measures, and funding priorities
• Prior public-sector consulting or workforce-board engagement with results that can be cited
