Job summary

Fronius USA, LLC is seeking an Electronic Engineer Technician-Regional with strong field installation, troubleshooting, and customer support capabilities. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and installations in the USA and Europe, with emphasis on electrical engineering basics and welding knowledge.

The candidate will demonstrate Fronius products, assist in system configurations for customers, and provide technical guidance during demonstrations and training events.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Electrical Technology/Engineering.
• Regular travel required, willingness to travel USA and Europe.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to travel.
• Experience in electrical tech/engineering field; welding knowledge a plus; robotics knowledge a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently or remotely; collaborate with team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand Fronius equipment configurations and installation processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment in the field.
• Evaluate client needs for upgrades or new installations.
• Support sales with system configurations and customer guidance.
• Conduct demonstrations and training for colleagues and clients.
• Install and integrate welding systems at client sites (manual and robotic).
• Lead or assist in product modifications and development initiatives.
• Attend trade fairs and provide technical guidance at regional and national events.
