Job summary

Veolia is seeking a field-based Wastewater Operator to cover vacancies across multiple facilities. You will monitor operations, perform sampling, and maintain records. The role requires significant travel and flexibility to support start-ups and new accounts.

You will train local technicians, assist in troubleshooting, and implement process changes to meet environmental compliance. A strong mechanical aptitude and solid communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel, including extended deployments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Provide training support and develop resources for local technicians in the region.
• Analyze lab data and implement process changes to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other operators to keep the WWTP running smoothly.
