Veolia is seeking a field operations professional to oversee multiple water and wastewater facilities across the region. The role covers vacations and absences, provides training to local teams, and supports new account startups with operational tasks and goals.

Significant travel is required, including extended periods away from home. The position emphasizes hands-on operation, troubleshooting, routine to preventive maintenance, and maintaining strict record-keeping and lab testing standards

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of the Veolia operated facilities in your designated region as vacations and unplanned absences arise.
• Assist in the operational development of all local technicians within your designated region, including hands-on training visits and development of electronic training materials.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are in use at all Veolia operated facilities, including record keeping, lab testing, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Support new account start-up projects with SWOT team to develop operational tasks, procedures, and goals and training for new technicians.
• Provide knowledgeable support to local technicians to troubleshoot process issues and encourage proactive decision making.
• Operate and control electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of water into the Wastewater treatment plant.
• Collect and test Wastewater samples to determine concentration levels and impurities at the designated testing frequency.
• Maintain accurate records of client data such as chemical residuals, turbidity, and water pressure.
• Comply with Veolia and multiple safety programs.
• Analyze lab data to identify treatment issues and implement process changes to prevent non-compliance.
• Coordinate with other operators to maintain wastewater treatment equipment.
• Consult with multiples and Veolia management to determine best treatment options for Wastewater.
