Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences across its facilities, train local technicians, and support start-ups. The role requires significant travel, with on-site duties spanning day and night shifts and extensive field work.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in wastewater operations, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills. Proactive troubleshooting, adherence to safety programs, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google suite.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Traveling work role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Train and develop local technicians via site visits and material development.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices at facilities.
• Support new account start-ups with SWOT team involvement.
