Job summary

Apex Water and Process is seeking an Area Manager in the Tampa area to drive growth by soliciting new business and expanding the customer base. You will mentor an Account Manager team, manage key accounts, and develop regional plans to achieve sales goals while ensuring profitability and compliance with company standards.

This full-time role requires 3-4 nights per month travel, a strong technical sales background in water treatment, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of technical sales experience in industrial water treatment.
• Two years of team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of cooling tower systems and water treatment.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities in the assigned geographic area.
• Manage and develop a sales team.
• Sell and service key accounts.
• Develop regional sales plans to meet goals.
• Monitor pricing and reports; support RFPs.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety.
• Provide performance feedback to leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns.
