Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Operations Technician to cover multiple client facilities across the region. The role requires significant travel and hands-on training across sites, focusing on process changes, lab testing, and compliance.

You will help develop technicians, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient operation of wastewater treatment processes. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in wastewater operations, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in wastewater treatment plant operations preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities in the region during vacations and absences, including day and night shifts.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training and electronic training materials for local technicians.
• Perform process changes, lab testing, data collection, and reporting to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Support startup projects and training for newly hired technicians in the region.
• Troubleshoot process issues, coordinate with management, and optimize plant performance.
