Veolia is seeking a traveling Wastewater Operator to cover vacations and absences across multiple facilities. The role includes training local technicians, implementing process changes for compliance, and supporting new account startups in the region.

The position requires significant travel (1–4 weeks at a time) and hands-on supervision of operational tasks, maintenance, sampling, and data reporting. A strong mechanical, software, and teamwork background is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• 3+ years of wastewater operations experience.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage during vacations/absences.
• Train local technicians and develop training materials.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Support new account start-up projects with SWOT team.
• Coordinate with clients and maintenance teams for plant operation.
