Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Traveling Wastewater Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at multiple client sites in the Louisville area. You will support operation and maintenance, assist in training local teams, and help with start-ups for new accounts, often on extended travel assignments.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data collection, lab sampling, and creating training materials while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage of Veolia facilities during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Assist in the operational development and training of local technicians.
• Ensure industry standards, record keeping, lab testing, and preventive maintenance practices are followed.
• Support new account start-up projects and coordinate with the SWOT team.
• Provide troubleshooting support and data analysis to optimize treatment processes.
