Job summary

HDR, Inc. in California seeks a Regional Solid Waste Facilities Practice Leader to align HDR’s waste facilities strategy with practice leadership, delivering technical direction and client-focused project work across the West Region.

You will lead business development, mentor staff, coordinate with Building Engineering Services leadership, and oversee proposals, budgets, and contracts for waste facility design projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; PE license expected.
• MS Office and MS Project proficiency required.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the local licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Practice business strategies in collaboration with leadership.
• Lead and participate in project pursuits including client relationships and proposals.
• Coordinate with BES leadership for project proposal support and budgets.
• Direct billable work on waste facility projects.
• Participate in project teams as Project Manager/Design Manager for Waste Facilities.
