Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Waste Business Development Leader to drive growth in the Southeast. You will coordinate marketing strategies, lead pursuit teams, and support strategic planning while leveraging HDR's cross‑sector resources to win high‑value contracts.

You will manage key client relationships, identify opportunities, and travel to engage with clients and industry partners across multiple states. HDR values inclusion and employee ownership across our Waste Services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Maintain a professional or engineering registration or certificate or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct marketing strategy and lead pursuit teams for the Southeast.
• Support strategic planning and growth initiatives and investments.
• Develop and collaborate on a Waste approach for Client Development Plans and track progress.
• Serve as Manager for select key clients and build relationships with strategic partners.
• Identify market opportunities and drive growth by engaging clients and industry networks.
• Attend state/regional waste and industry conferences to monitor market changes.
