Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Regional Solid Waste Facilities Practice Leader to drive strategy and oversight across the West Region.

This role includes technical direction, client development, and leadership of project teams for waste facility design and related services. Preferred candidates hold a PE license, a master's in Civil/Structural/Mechanical engineering, and 7+ years of experience with at least 2 in project management; strong communication and collaboration across HDR’s regions are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience with at least 2 years in project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license required.
• MS Office and MS Project experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment to an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional waste facilities practice strategy and leadership.
• Support business development and client relationship efforts.
• Direct billable work on waste facility projects.
• Coordinate with BES leadership for project proposals and budgets.
• Contribute to national pursuits and staff recruitment.
• Ensure quality control of project deliverables.
