Job summary

HDR is seeking a Solid Waste Project Manager to lead technical work on solid waste and recycling projects in New England. The role focuses on project management while developing new opportunities and expanding HDR's presence in the region.

Travel to regional offices and client sites throughout the Northeast will be required. Primary responsibilities include leading projects, establishing client relations, coordinating staffing, and ensuring on-time deliverables; QA/QC procedures and contract

Qualifications

Formal PE license and state registrations.
Experience with NE state solid waste & recycling regulations and permitting.
Experience with master planning and implementing waste diversion programs.
Experience with organics management and organics facility design.
Proven client relationship management with direct client interaction.

Responsibilities

Serve as project manager or technical lead on solid waste projects of varying size.
Establish and maintain client relations; assist in marketing and proposals.
Coordinate staffing and workload across project development and execution.
Deliver projects on schedule; support QA/QC procedures.
Provide contract management support and liaison with finance and accounting.
