Job summary

Jobot seeks a Regional Vice President to drive growth in the engineering services unit. The role focuses on standardizing operations, pricing, delivery, and cross-geography coordination across sales, operations, and engineering.

You should have an EE degree, ideally a PE, and a track record of managing a $25M+ P&L with 5+ years of leadership. If you combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, you will help scale a $300M engineering services business.

Qualifications

• EE degree; PE preferred; non-PE considered on an individual basis.
• Owned a P&L of at least $25M with at least 5 years of P&L leadership experience.
• Understanding of power systems and utility-sized power generation technology.
• Exceptional EQ; strong people leadership for strategic initiatives.
• Ability to create org charts and align customer service with growth strategy.

We are an industry leader that has gone through a leadership refresh and looking for a Regional Vice President to drive growth in our most important business unit, engineering services. We've been around for many years, and because of new acquisitions and investment, we have accelerated our growth - double digits on both topline and EBITDA.

Responsibilities

This role will be focused on standardizing the division's operations, including sales, operations, and engineering. You'll work with Sales to understand what opportunities exist in the landscape and how to respond to them. You'll make sure pricing and delivery capabilities are consistently communicated across geographies. From there, you'll work with operations to understand what kind of support the sales and engineering teams need to complete the projects. And finally, working with engineering to make sure there is consistent delivery while allocating resources so that engineering utilization is high.

Requirements

• You’ll have an EE degree and ideally a PE. Non-PE's will be considered on an individual basis.
• You have owned a P&L of at least 25 million and have at least 5 years of P&L leadership. - This is required. Resumes without P&L leadership experience described will not be considered.
• You’ll understand power systems and utility-sized power generation technology
• You will have exceptional EQ. For as much strategy as this position is, it's very much a people leadership position.
• Finally, the right candidate will be both strategic and tactical. Being able to create org charts and understand how a customer needs to be serviced while communicating how that will affect growth over time.
