Job summary

Hunter Truck, a leading Peterbilt dealer group, seeks a Regional Vice President to drive regional P&L across Trucks, Parts and Service in the Northeast region. Lead cross-functional teams, align resources, and grow market share and profitability while elevating customer retention.

This senior role reports to the Chief Operating Officer, supervises regional directors, and partners with enterprise leaders to optimize pricing, inventory, and service standards across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to manage a regional P&L, analyze performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Proven ability to lead multiple business functions and locations through senior-level leaders.
• Strong understanding of sales, parts, service, customer retention, market share, profitability, and operational performance within a dealership or related industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Strong leadership skills with success developing leaders, building high-performing teams, and establishing accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own the full regional P&L across Trucks, Trailers, Parts and Service, including revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, working capital and EBITDA.
• Directly manage the Regional Truck Sales Director, Regional Parts Director and Regional Service Director.
• Act as the senior regional customer and market leader, ensuring coordinated coverage of key fleets and major accounts across all three functions.
• Set regional priorities, resolve cross-functional conflicts and ensure resources are deployed against the highest-value customer and market opportunities.
• Drive truck market share, parts capture, customer retention, service responsiveness and overall regional profitability as an integrated scorecard.
• Own regional talent, succession, performance management and leadership development across Truck, Parts and Service.
