Job summary

Veho seeks a highly experienced Regional VP of Ground Operations to oversee our ground operations network, driving strategy, excellence, and continuous improvement across warehousing, sortation, and last-mile processes.

You will lead the tactical and long-term evolution of our ops and 3PL partnerships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage technology and optimize performance. Expect 50%+ travel and a fast-paced scaling environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in ground operations, warehousing, logistics, or last-mile delivery.
• Proven track record scaling operations in high-growth or startup environments.
• Deep knowledge of last-mile delivery and network optimization.
• Experience implementing WMS/TMS, automation, and data analytics solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and execute the long-term strategic vision and tactical plan for Veho's ground operations network.
• Oversee warehousing, sortation, logistics and last-mile processes with a focus on safety, quality, service and productivity.
• Drive network evaluation, capacity planning and infrastructure development for scalable growth.
• Lead a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement using data-driven methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI/automation to optimize processes.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics; provide executive-level reporting and insights.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team; manage leaders of leaders.
• Ensure risk management, safety, security, compliance and environmental standards.
• Manage budgets and drive cost optimization while maintaining service levels.
